A warm, musical Christmas with the 'MAX Christmas concert' on NPO1
The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra, on Christmas Day and Boxing Day on TV!
On December 14, the recordings of the annual 'MAX Christmas concert' took place.
This will be broadcast on Christmas Day, NPO1 at 1.20 pm, immediately after King Willem Alexander's speech.
The repeat is on December 26, NPO1 at 10:15 pm.
The theme of the concert is hope, for a hopeful and positive musical sound in this special time
During the 'MAX Christmas concert', Ruth Jacott sings the well-known Leun op mij.
Artist Leona Philippo is also present and will perform the song Think, by Aretha Franklin.
Frank Boeijen sings Zwart Wit, Willeke Alberti & Mart Hoogkamer perform with Being Together, het ZO! Gospel Choir presents a new song of their own and the cast of TINA sings the fantastic song River Deep Mountain High. Of course, Christmas numbers should also not be missing. Romy Monteiro comes by and sings All I Want For Christmas Is You, by Mariah Carey. And the 3JS will also perform.
There is also room for classical sounds. Marco Bakker will let the viewers enjoy the beautiful "You Raise Me Up" at home and Wendy will perform the beautiful "Once Upon A Time In The West" by Morricone together with The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra.
The entire concert is under the musical direction of Maestro Guido.
